Ignite 12.2
Now production is finally underway again with Mezz's famous IGNITE 12.2 carbon shafts. This time they come in the joints United, Wavy, and Wavy 2, which are for all Mezz's shafts made after 2022.
You get it in 29" and 30". We will not include the latter in our range and are therefore ONLY ON ORDER.

Ignite 12.2 is made of Japanese carbon fiber intended for the space industry, with what they call "Ignite Composite Laminating Technology" In short it becomes ICLT.
Now they have also further developed the tip with a technology they call "new responsive front-end design" and added a vibration dampening core.
Surface:
The IGNITE shaft should not be sanded or modified under any circumstances as this will damage the outer finish of the shaft and damage the quality of the IGNITE front piece.
In addition, this can create microcracks that can release potentially harmful ingredients that are dangerous to one's health. Any chemical treatment of the IGNITE shafts, including cleaning and conditioning fluids, will degrade performance and void the limited lifetime warranty of the IGNITE shafts. Never use powder or liquids on the IGNITE shafts. For maintenance of the surface of the IGNITE shafts, we recommend using wet wipes or cloth with isopropyl alcohol (80%).

The tip: The tip of the carbon fiber composite IGNITE shafts is constructed with the IG tip plate, IG Powerplate and the high performance ZAN tip. Brushing the shaft is prohibited and all maintenance work, including tip replacement, must be carried out by an authorized Miki repair center or a professional repairer using a special set of tools. Having maintenance work performed by non-authorized professionals or workshops may damage the IGNITE shaft and void the limited lifetime warranty.
