IT STARTED ON A KITCHEN COUNTER

KB Custom Cues was founded in 2012.

Our first “workshop” was a kitchen counter. It began with replacing our own cue tips, exploring different materials and trying to understand how such small details could make such a noticeable difference.

One tip became several. Several became repairs for other players. Curiosity developed into craftsmanship – and the kitchen counter eventually became far too small.

Every serious business begins somewhere. Ours began between the kitchen cabinets.

FROM A SMALL WORKSHOP TO A FULL-TIME COMMITMENT

A few years later, KBC moved into a small workshop in the Grønland district of Oslo.

We repaired everything that came through the door, gained valuable experience and established our first direct relationships with manufacturers.

Mezz Cues became our first major brand. From there, the workshop, our knowledge and our selection continued to grow.

In 2018, we moved from Oslo to Fredrikstad and made an important decision:

KBC would focus entirely on billiards. No unrelated product categories. No distractions. Just cues, equipment and proper craftsmanship.

KBC represents more than 25 manufacturers and brands from countries including Japan, the United States, Finland, Thailand and Vietnam.

We work to purchase directly from manufacturers and maintain proper agreements with the brands we represent.

When we need a technical answer, we speak directly with the people who developed or manufactured the product.

There is a considerable difference between representing a brand and simply finding a few of its products for sale.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED

Some customers know the exact joint, diameter, taper and balance they want before contacting us.

Others simply know that they would like their first proper cue.

Both are perfectly welcome.

We help beginners, active players, collectors, clubs and professionals find equipment that suits their needs and budget – rather than automatically recommending the most expensive option.

The world of billiard equipment is enormous, and there is a great deal you may not have tried yet.

Our job is to provide the choices and the knowledge. You decide what feels right.
